The recent House Judiciary Committee hearing was an absolute shame. For hours, Democrats refused to let Bill Barr answer the questions they were asking, going so far as to deny the Attorney General a bathroom break.
Democrats have been so focused on misleading the federal response to violence in places like Portland and letting the media gaslight the country about it, but enough’s enough. If the Dems thought they could bully Jim Jordan, Bill Barr, and the other Republicans, then they are sorely mistaken because there are more important issues at hand than how the media misrepresents the riots.
Rep. Jim Jordan dropped a few truth bombs on the proceedings. Democrats have “absolutely nothing. And so all they got left is to attack the Attorney General who had the courage to state the truth right from the get-go. Chairman Nadler refuses to allow Mr. Horowitz to come here and testify and answer our questions about the 17 lies the Obama-Biden administration told,” said Jordan. This is in regards to the left pretending that the Obama administration didn’t spy on the Trump campaign.
Jordan also played a video showing the violence where journalists called the protests “peaceful,” followed by a clip of Captain David Dorn, a retired African-American police chief who was shot and killed after trying to defend a pawn shop from looters, among other victims of the recent uprisings by radical leftists.
Barr then continued to fire back at the Democrat representatives who appeared to choose personal attacks and interruptions rather than showing up as representatives who did their homework.
Rep. Joe Neguse demanded the Attorney General answer a question, then tried to not let him fully answer it. Bill Barr snapped back “I’m gonna answer the damn question” regarding the Mueller investigation. Typical liberal move to ask a question for intimidation purposes rather than validation. The question was regarding how Barr cooperated with the Special Counsel, and according to the Mueller Investigation Trial, Barr was being truthful then and truthful now. So what’s the point when he’s going to say the same thing? It’s nothing more than a tactical error, reminding everyone what a joke that entire investigation was.
Neguse and the rest of the Democrats gave irrelevant speeches and made fools of themselves, refusing to condemn the violence destroying communities and killing innocent people. If we learned anything today, it’s that the Democrats flat-out support anarchy and will do anything for more power. The Republican members came prepared and answered everything thrown at them.
The left is simply out of their league and calling this hearing was clearly a mistake on their part. They better take notes for next time. The Republicans are done sitting silently and are ready to stand up for the rule of law.
