On a recent “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the host opened his show by taking a closer look at Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., and Rep. Karen Bass, D-Calif. Both are believed to be on the shortlist to become Joe Biden’s running mate.
“Joe Biden cannot govern the country. He isn’t capable of it. So Biden’s running mate will be the most consequential VP pick in American history,” Carlson said.
One remark that is particularly drawing attention to Harris’s campaign was in May 2019 during a CNN appearance. It was her response to a question about whether or not she supported providing healthcare for illegal immigrants. She said she opposed any policy that denied a human being from access to public safety, public education, or public health.
According to many, this is a very dangerous idea to play with, being that the coronavirus pandemic has forced Americans out of work and caused them to spend a huge percentage on health care. Carlson asked why people who aren’t even allowed to be in this country in the first place illegally are going to get free healthcare at the taxpayers expense. If our government is $27 trillion in debt, how can they afford the rest of the world’s medical bills? But to most liberals, fixing the problem is not the point. Winning is.
Some of the Biden allies have even waged a shadow campaign against Kamala Harris, in particular, bringing into question her loyalty to the former vice president. This move included a few of his top donors who think Harris will just be too focused on becoming the President herself.
Later on, Carlson also took a look at Bass, the chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus who seems to be an unapologetic left-wing activist who spent decades helping Fidel Castro and his Cold War against the United States. After Castro died, she even referred to the despot as “Comandante en Jefe,” Spanish for ‘commander in chief.’ Her praise of this diseased dictator provoked many Democrats and she has claimed this is something she would not say again.
The media has also forgot to mention that Karen Bass cosponsored the New Way Forward Act, which forces the U.S government to re import hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants for committing crimes. At the taxpayers expense of course. They also forgo to mention that she’s trying to repeal California’s main anti-discrimination law to make racial discrimination legal as it was before the Civil Rights movement. Yes, you read that correctly.
Yet again, the media forgets to mention all of this. Why? It doesn’t fit their political narratives. We’ll be around waiting to see who Biden picks. Any person who can read properly off of a teleprompter will be overqualified at this point. Between struggling to find the next word and not knowing where he is, Biden will be lucky enough if he can even make a decision.
