Mostly Not A Cannibal

There is not a day that goes by where there isn’t some mainstream media platform gaslighting the term “mostly peaceful” to describe the protests turning violent over the last few weeks. And according to them, “justifiable so.”

The left have been constantly branding a story that all of the protests were “dying down” or “peaceful” until the police officers had the nerve to step in, causing more “chaos” throughout the streets and attacking “innocent” protesters. The liberal media have been blaming our men and women in blue for the absolute anarchy and communities burning down before our eyes. According to the Dems, it’s everyone else’s fault but the “mostly peaceful” protesters.

People have had enough of the absolute disrespect towards our federal law enforcement officers and are fighting back.

One man in particular, Fox News senior political analyst, Brit Hume has had enough of this political spin on the riot stories and took to Twitter in giving his thoughts on how reporters determine that a rioter is just a “mostly peaceful” protester.

He posted a video from independent journalist Andy Ngo of a rioter who jumped over a barrier and lit some type of incendiary device to throw at the Portland federal courthouse. He is then shot with pepper balls after he hurls the lit projectile.

We all know when a video like that goes viral, the mainstream media still ends up characterizing the violent rioters as “mostly peaceful” protesters in spite of their anarchistic actions.

Brit posted the video with the caption “But hey, except for when he lit and threw the device, he was peaceful, which makes him “mostly peaceful,” right?”

Let’s hope the more videos that go viral, the more we can identify the culprits participating in these violent acts that are destroying our communities. If the media seriously wanted to report the news, instead of spinning it, they would call these acts for what they really are…which is violent. Calling people “mostly peaceful” is like calling Jeffrey Dahmer “mostly not a cannibal.” That’s how ridiculous this all sounds.

Even the top federal law enforcement officer in Oregon Billy J. Williams has had enough. He is ready to torch the media for their refusal to call the violent riots exactly what they are. Criminal.

The media asked Williams to share his thoughts on whether these “late-night protests” were shadowing the overall message about the Black Lives Matter movement and taking away from the fight for racial justice? Well, that’s an interesting choice of words.

“These aren’t late night demonstrations. This is criminal activity. There’s a difference. What you have failed and the media have failed to distinguish, between, you seem unwilling to call people engaged in criminal conduct, as criminals, as opposed to lawful protesting. This is unlawful. And people, whether you’re an opportunist, an antagonist, an agitator, or an anarchist, call it out for what it is. You’re using, ‘late night activity,’ it sounds like a party. It’s criminal. Look at the debris. We haven’t had a front door since July 3. That’s criminal, okay?” Williams said.

Williams explains that the media is choosing to downplay the criminal activity and suggests that if there is an honest accounting of what this is, then it helps build the reality check for how this can stop. That’s the thing though. There is zero honest (let alone reality) on the radical left. They base their arguments solely on emotion, never on facts. It’s about the perspective and the narrative, rather than the situation.

People are tired of the media insulting the American people’s intelligence and not calling all of this for exactly what it is – criminal.
