“The projections made about coronavirus were wrong.” We’re starting to hear this time and time again. Now, nobody is saying the elderly weren’t at risk or there wasn’t a disease, but the fear instilled in the American People and the way the economy collapsed the way it did…definitely wasn’t necessary.
If Democrat-led states had protected their elderly instead of forcing infected individuals into elderly homes like how New York Governor Cuomo did, you would’ve never seen the death tolls in those states the way you did.
The leader of the WHO, Dr. Fauci, and Dr. Birx created a panic and pushed for lockdowns and social distancing. It saved little and, if anything, it just killed the U.S economy.
While many people globally have built up immunity to seasonal flu strains, COVID-19 was a new virus. Of course no one had immunity to it. That means, medically speaking, people are susceptible to infection and some will suffer severe disease.
Globally we were told about 3.4% of reported COVID-19 cases have died. By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1% of those infected. This death number turns out…was false. The coronavirus fatality rate reported by the left-wing mainstream media was completely inaccurate. The actual rate was closer to the typical seasonal flu.
The fatality rate presented by the WHO was based on current data available of known positive cases and known deaths. The WHO director Tedros used the coronavirus fatality rate to then predict eventual mortality rate. This was a faulty assumption as we cannot tell the future but only make educated guesses.
The CDC can only make estimates when comparing the flu and coronavirus numbers. There is no way to know who died from the flu as some people do not have a test done to confirm the flu and those that have minor symptoms go on with their lives thinking it is a common cold. Comparing the rates of those who died from the flu to those who were confirmed they have the flu is around 10% much higher than the actual estimated rate at 0.1%. So the rate includes those who contracted the flu, but were not tested for the flu. That is why the flu fatality rate is 0.1% and the coronavirus fatality rate is 3.4%. Sneaky, sneaky.
Similar to the flu, those most at risk of dying from COVID-19 are the elderly and the already sick. Globally, the fatality rate by age is 14% for 80+ years old, 8% for 70-79 years old, 3% for 60-69 years old, 1.3% for 50-59 years old, and between 0.2-0.4% for 10-49 years old.
Yet, everyone was attacked if they dared downplay the danger of the spread. The Imperial College Model locked down the entire US economy. The garbage model turned out to be inaccurate months later in its predicted coronavirus death rates. Even Italy is enraged at the WHO. They have abandoned their masks and denounced the pandemic as a scam. It’s a good thing President Trump pulled us out from donating to them any further.
We have no idea how much exactly this caused Americans to suffer, but we do know that millions are still unemployed from this. The flawed models and economic lockdowns are nothing but a left-wing political agenda to push Americans into government dependency. Enough is enough, it’s time to get back to work.
