Former Vice President Joe Biden recently said 10 to 15 percent of Americans are just “not very good people” during a virtual town hall on race.
“Do we really think that this is as good as we can be as a nation? I don’t think the vast majority of people think that. There are probably anywhere from 10 to 15 percent of the people out there that are just not very good people. But that’s not who we are. The vast majority of people are decent. We have to appeal to that and we have to unite people.” Biden said in an online event titled “The Shade Room” moderated by actor Don Cheadle.
The comment echoes a large and deep disdain for the American population as the country increasingly becomes perpetuated by left-wing elites. In the wake of George Floyd’s death, protests are characterizing the U.S as irredeemably racist. These have branded every facet of American life around the oppression of black people, from declaring the Second Amendment racist to the threat from the novel coronavirus.
“The history of our country is not a fairy tale, it doesn’t guarantee a happy ending, but as I said earlier, we’re in a battle for the soul of this nation. It’s been a constant push and pull for the last 200 years.” Biden stated. These comments reflect the Anti-American teachings that are also pushing the school systems to re-write the U.S history as entirely evil and corrupt. Many documentaries and articles have debunked these major claims from the project entitled “1619 Project.”
For Biden to claim the second amendment is racist is sadly mistaken. All people have the human right of self defense except in Democrat-mandated victim disarmament zones where most American murders occur. Democrats should know that gun control itself is racist. When gun control laws first came about, it was California Democrats that did not want black people to have guns.
Few Americans seem to remember that the first task of the Ku Klux Klan was to disarm the black population in the south. Even fewer know that in the days before the Civil War, citizen militias repelled white mobs that attacked black neighborhoods in many Northern cities. On at least two occasions, those militias were composed entirely of black gun owners protecting themselves.
Every major city in the U.S that protests about police brutality and institutional racism has been Democrat-run. Wasn’t that the same trick the Nazi’s used? To rile the masses by claiming an evil group was the cause of all their problems?
