The Documents That Shocked Everyone

Newly declassified documents that surfaced indicate former President Barack Obama was aware of the details of wiretapped phone calls of Gen. Michael Flynn prior to President Donald Trump taking office. These documents even surprised his deputy attorney general Mark Levin to hear.

This reports that former President Obama was aware of the details of then-coming national security advisor Michael Flynn’s intercepted December 2016 phone calls with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. The documents released were presented as exhibits to the government’s motion to dismiss the Flynn case.

Though the FBI said Obama’s knowledge of the calls were not criminal by nature, this raised some eyebrows because of his own history with Flynn. Top FBI officials also secretly discussed whether their goal was to ‘get Flynn fired’ or not when they interviewed him in the White House on January 24, 2017. The interview was conducted without any legitimate investigative basis. Flynn then pleaded guilty of lying to the FBI about contact with the Russian ambassador before Trump took office. He pleaded guilty to one count of lying to federal agents in December 2017.

These revelations were discussed on Fox News when Mark Levin joined Sean Hannity to discuss. He held up the documents and said “Sean, you know what this is? This is Barack Obama’s blue dress. That’s what that is, without the DNA on it.” The ‘blue dress’ was a reference to evidence used during President Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial.

He then goes on to explain that if all of this went on during the Obama Administration, then the rest of them went rogue. The FBI, the Department of Justice, the CIA, the DNI, the NSC, etc. With all of the leaks in the newspaper – The New York Times and Washington Post – Obama and Joe were never asked. They were never asked about any role they had, any knowledge, and the presidential briefing documents that were never made public until now. “This is a massive cover-up of the greatest scandal in American history.” Levin said.

Obama’s newly-released documents say he ‘learned of the information about Flynn and his conversation with Kislyak about sanctions’ but did not want additional information on the matter. So…the Obama Administration knew. They just wanted nothing to do with it. The only information they sought was on whether the White House should be treating Flynn any differently. ‘Any differently’ could be interpreted by some to mean that the former president meant not to give Gen. Flynn intelligence information. “I think it means take out Flynn.” Levin continues.

The Justice Department said they were dropping the case after a considered review of all facts and circumstances of the case, including the newly discovered and disclosed documents. What a day for Gen. Flynn.
