A man was recently arrested and charged with the May 31 firebombing of the East Valley Republican Women Federated office in La Quinta, California.

Security footage shows a man in all black breaking the windows of the office with a metal bat and then tossing an improvised bomb into the building. The device was constructed of three bottles. Videos from inside the office show the fire spreading and smoke filling the rooms.

The same man returned to the building a few moments later and broke more windows. He then entered the building and retrieved his bomb, before throwing another set of bottles once more into the building. The firebombing caused limited damage to the headquarters and no one was injured.

Carlos Espriu, 23, was the named criminal in a federal complaint that charged him with attempted arson. Investigators found his social media accounts where he complained on a Twitter account about wanting to burn things and get hit with tear gas. He was also repeatedly using a vehicle closely resembling the one seen in the surveillance footage.

Officials also found audio recordings of Espriu saying he filled the three bottles with gasoline-soaked towels and recovered a green lighter very similar to the one used to light the improvised bombs. He is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.

It’s nice to see they arrested him. Law and order is just warming up. It’s time for people to be held responsible for their actions instead of the media just spewing out social ideas to justify the violence.

This isn’t the first time there have been attacks on Republican-based headquarters. The Humboldt County Republican HQ in California has been vandalized 6 times in 2 years. Windows were broken, rocks were thrown, and liquid was poured all over merchandise.

The New Mexico GOP headquarters has also been vandalized and had the word “traitors” spray-painted over it. Is the media covering any of this? Nope. But you can be confident in knowing if it were a Democrat building, there would be a media storm.
