Is He Lying Or Is This Another “Gaffe?”

Joe Biden is doing just about everything he can to get some votes around here. He was at it again recently on Twitter, trying to please the radical left, when it backfired.

“It’s been six years since Michael Brown’s life was taken in Ferguson — reigniting a movement. We must continue the work of tackling systemic racism and reforming policing,” Biden tweeted.

We all know the story. Michael Brown had robbed a convenience store, when he was stopped by a cop because of it. There was a struggle, Brown tried to reach for the officer’s gun, and he was shot. There was no “hands up don’t shoot” moment, despite the media pushing a narrative that it had everything to do with racism and nothing to do with robbing a convenience store.

Multiple investigations concluded that the shooting was found justifiable, including the Obama/Biden Administration at the time. David French, senior editor at The Dispatch and columnist at Times, noticed Biden’s tweet and reached out to correct him.

“The Department has concluded that Darren Wilson’s actions do not constitute prosecutable violations under the applicable federal criminal civil rights statute. This matter lacks prosecutive merit and should be closed. Obama/Biden DOJ in 2015,” French tweeted at Biden. The tweet also included a link to the full Department of Justice report regarding the criminal investigation into the shooting death of Michael Brown by Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson.

But hey, Joe probably doesn’t remember that. I’m amazed he remembers six minutes ago, let alone 6 years. He’s just trying to create more of a divide by bringing up the past. Things must not be going as planned for the Democratic Party if they keep dragging up old news.

Biden has shamefully tried to create a conversation that the work is not done, when his own Holder-led DOJ had concluded witness testimony of Brown going for Wilson’s gun and getting his finger in the trigger guard. This was evidence-supported in the report.

Dozens of Twitter users flagged Biden for misinformation, like he forgot this happened during the Obama administration, had the DOJ investigate it, and they found the officer innocent. Bringing this up again just reminds everyone that they could’ve tackled the problem then. So why gaslight this?

Biden has been in trouble with some recent bad racial statements, along with an entire history of questionable racial statements. There’s only one way to repair the damage, and it’s about being divisive rather than solving actual problems (as it is for most Dems). If he had thought it was a problem back then, he could’ve spoken up about it but he didn’t. Plus, that was when the Dems were still running things, not Trump.

So who is to blame now?
