Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, recently stated that he wouldn’t recommend that fully vaccinated people eat at restaurants during the Omicron surge.
Anchor Dana Bash asked how people who have been vaccinated or boosted should behave.
Fauci called it a tsunami in infections and said they are seeing people who were vaccinated, boosted, and who are suffering from breakthrough infections. When you find yourself in an extremely difficult situation, you should tell your friends and family that they are all vaccinated.
He continued to say how it is safest to be in a family setting with friends and relatives who are vaccinated, boosted, and other safety precautions. He said you can get an antigen test. This will provide you with additional assurance and to avoid places with 20, 30, 40 or 50 people.
