Planned Parenthood has officially endorsed presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden for president, calling the upcoming election a choice between “life and death.”
Alexis McGill Johnson, the acting president for Planned Parenthood, made this shockingly ironic comment alongside the video release announcing this endorsement. “This is literally a life and death election. We felt we can’t endure another four years of Trump; we have to do everything we can to get him out of office,” Johnson told NPR. She complained that over the last four years their fundamental rights and health have been under attack by the Trump Administration. Yet that didn’t stop the organization from setting a record by conducting 345,672 abortion procedures in a single year.
In the video, former vice president Biden touted his record of supporting reproductive rights and expanding insurance coverage for related practices through the Affordable Care Act. “As president I’m going to do everything in my power to expand access to quality, affordable health care for women, especially women of color. We will protect women’s constitutional rights to choose. I’m proud to stand with you in this fight,” Biden said.
Johnson’s “life and death” comments got ripped on social media following the video’s release. Journalist and author Billy Hallowell tweeted the following: “You have to give it to Planned Parenthood. I have yet to see an organization more detached from the reality and meaning of its own bizarre proclamations. Yes, PP, it is certainly a life or death election for hundreds of thousands of unborn babies.”
Turning Point USA’s Chief Creative Officer Benny Johnson also added a tweet to Planned Parenthood: “Planned Parenthood just endorsed Biden and says this is a ‘life and death election.’ In that case, they’re on the side of Death. #ChooseLife” Well they are the experts on life and death, right?
How can a political party that will not violence, looting, and anarchy have popular support at all these days? It’s interesting to see the left who pretended to want, honor, and like diverse ideologies all bent on shutting down any ideology that isn’t their own yet still falsely pledge to “love” ideological diversity.
Planned Parenthood has also said they are spending 50% more this election cycle than four years ago. How is it that Planned Parenthood gets federal money and is able to donate to political campaigns at all? This just means that tax-payers are bank-rolling Joe Biden’s campaign. But that won’t be in the news… While Trump fills up 15 football stadiums in Tulsa, Biden will be trying to fill the Planned Parenthood break room with free coffee and donuts.
