Celebrities just can’t stay out of the spotlight. Because of stay-at-home orders, celebrities don’t seem to be getting the attention they once had leading them to say just about anything to grab some eyes. Alyssa Milano is that recent celebrity and she has supported the equivalence that Christians praying for Trump are the same as those who lynched blacks. Talk about a politically divisive narrative.
Liberal actress Alyssa Milano shared a video conference where Bishop Talbert Swan on “The Bishop’s Barbecue” equated Christians who support President Donald Trump to those who lynched blacks. She participated in the discussion with black pastors about politics and retweeted the video with clips from the conference.
This isn’t the first time Alyssa Milano has received backlash over her political opinions. She has also tweeted “The red MAGA hat is the new white hood,” comparing those who wear “Make America Great Again” hats to the hood worn by members of the Ku Klux Klan. She had tweeted this after a video went viral between a group of Catholic high school students and a Native American elder on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Some of the students had been wearing MAGA hats.
Videos later surfaced, revealing new details of what led up to the clash. Twitter users were asking Milano to apologize, sending tweets such as “Way to blow something completely out of proportion in order to continue your irrational hatred of all things Trump.” Others tweeted “I’m a Latino that thinks it’s unbelievable that all these liberals are trying to imply that being white is the problem in this country.”
Ironically enough, last week Alyssa Milano got hit by a liberal mov over alleged blackface photos. She claims she was portraying Jersey Shore’s Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi. She came under fire over an old parody video showing her with a darker complexion. Milano fought back on Twitter to left-wing activists that she had a tan and that “Snooki’s tan is worthy of parody as it is to Trump’s tan.” Funny how liberals have this double-edged sword that always comes back for them. She then took to Twitter to complain that the cancel culture is “weaponizing” just shortly after her own controversy.
Her accompanying complaints in asking the Washington Redskins to change their name, shooting racial slurs at any and all Trump supporters, and just about every other tweet she posts is enough hypocrisy to end her acting career entirely. Or give her enough attention to get her in for a CNN interview. Hard to tell.
