CNN’s Gaslighting Performance In Front Of A Riot

You really can’t make this stuff up. CNN finally sent someone over to cover the Kenosha, Wisconsin riots over the shooting of Jacob Blake, but reporting honestly? Nah, CNN didn’t feel like it.

They produced one of the most gaslighting scenes in news history, with some people wondering if it was photo-shopped or even filmed somewhere else.

CNN National Correspondent, Omar Jimenez, stood in front of a building engulfed in flames while the caption read: “Fiery but mostly peaceful protests after police shooting.” Jimenez reported on the second night of the “protests” talking about the stark contrast to what they saw during daylight hours. He said the demonstrations were “mostly peaceful” until nighttime, when things became more contentious.

Jimenez continued to blame the police saying they used crowd dispersal tactics, including tear gas and loud noise sound effects, to clear them out. He stands in front of a burning building, with gunshots heard in the background, then continues to preach the BLM message of a shared expression of anger and frustration to excuse these violent crimes.

The background looked like a war zone. Cars and buildings were on fire while Jiminez sugar-coated it all, calling it a painted picture of righteous anger instead of condemning the destruction in his one minute hit.

Blake was a wanted criminal who resisted arrest and assaulted an officer. He ignored the commands to stop, then tried to reach in his car. This is not a story of racist police targeting black men, yet the left loves to lump everything together with the BLM message with a total disregard for the facts. The cop may or may not have made the right call to fire his weapon, but with each individual situation comes individual analysis.

This is not the first time a liberal reporter has looked completely bonkers. MSNBC reporters have also committed the same act. One of their reporters even stood in front of a burning building in the middle of a riot and said “I want to be clear on how I characterize this. This is mostly a protest. It is not generally speaking unruly.”

I’m surprised the left haven’t started referring to these as “peaceful fires” yet that make delicious s’mores. Reporters continue to support criminals burning down their communities over the death of someone they’ve never heard of before, it’s unreal.

Talk about fake news.
