Media bias watchdog Media Research Center (MRC), released data showing that Big Tech companies like Twitter and Facebook have censored Joe Biden’s criticisms 646 times since the beginning of the 2020 presidential campaign cycle.
This data was compiled through MRC’s CensorTrack Database, which tracks censorship by Silicon Valley platforms of prominent political voices.
Big Tech has not ceased its campaign to defend President Joe Biden’s agenda and policies. Over the past two-years, there were more than 640 instances of people criticizing Biden via social media. These 140 cases included cases where Big Tech censored people in response to the Hunter Biden scandal at The New York Post. This was in late 2020.
MRC Free Speech America compiled 646 cases from its CensorTrack database, which tracks pro-Biden censorship. The data was dated between March 10, 2020 and March 10, 2022. This tally includes cases from Biden’s presidential candidacy through the present.
Platforms that targeted anyone speaking about the Hunter Biden bombshell story of the New York Post were some of the worst examples. The Post probed Hunter Biden’s and the Biden family’s corrupt foreign business dealings. Big Tech’s decision to cancel that story helped Biden win the 2020 election.
An earlier poll by the MRC showed that Big Tech censorship over the Hunter Biden story cost Trump the election. A large number of respondents said they would vote differently if they had known about it.
