Biden Slams Reporter Over Hunter Allegations

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has gotten off pretty easy on avoiding questions about his son Hunter Biden’s business allegations.

Emails from an abandoned laptop were recently leaked by NY Post regarding Hunter setting up a meeting between his father and an executive at the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma. The story was censored by several big tech corporations, such as Facebook and Twitter, after being categorized as “misinformation.” However, Biden’s campaign team kept quiet about whether or not the emails are authentic. The FBI has launched its own investigation into the laptop and emails as well

CBS News campaign reporter Bo Erickson was one of the first reporters to ask Joe Biden about the emails. He was then attacked for asking a “smear campaign” question at all. “I know you’d ask it. I have no response, it’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask,” Biden said.

The amplified response to the Hunter Biden emails was enough for big tech companies to backtrack and allow users to share the article on their profiles. Twitter, for example, was using their platform to suspend conservative voices, including White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

Biden avoided any questions on the matter at his town hall on ABC Thursday Night. He wasn’t even asked once about it. If this had been a story about President Trump instead, the narrative would’ve switched and it’s the only thing news networks would be talking about right now. However, that’s not the case.

In the most recent campaign stop in Pennsylvania, a reporter tried to ask Biden about the story but he cut off the reporter before he could even finish asking the question.

“There is no controversy about my son. It’s all a lie. It’s a flat lie because the president has nothing else to run on. If you noticed, while the American people are talking about what’s happening to their families, he has no plan, and at the debate, he has no plan. Everything from the Wall Street Journal, every other major news outlet has said what he’s saying is simply not true about my son,” Biden said.

Everyone seems to be asking about the emails but no one seems to ask him if the laptop is Hunter Biden’s. The Democratic presidential nominee went on to talk about Trump holding campaign rallies that are “great spreaders of more virus” and didn’t say another thing about the emails.

Before you know it, Democrats will be back to connecting the emails to some Russian propaganda campaign (even though the FBI denied any relation) or doing whatever they can to disrupt the election. It’s always about getting President Trump out of office, no matter what the cost. Even if it’s the American people.
