Former presidential candidate and Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard is criticizing members of her own party for the “racialization” and “hate of everything and everyone.” She accused Democrats of using race issues for their own political or financial gain, as well as using mainstream propaganda media to divide the country more. Gabbard is an Army veteran and served as the U.S Rep for Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district.
Gabbard, who has taken aim on the media for their continued focus on skin color, wrote on Twitter that we are all “children of God” and therefore family in the truest sense. She adds that no matter what our race or ethnicity is, “this is aloha and what our country in the world needs.” “Aloha” is the guidance of her home state’s slogan and as a form of greeting, as well as an expression of love and affection. Her comments come after the conviction of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis Police officer who was on trial in the death of George Floyd.
“Aloha means respect and love for others. It’s what enables us to see beyond our skin color and see the soul of person within. So let’s do our best to cultivate this aloha in our hearts and see and treat others through this prism of love, not through the prism of race and ethnicity,” Gabbard writes.
The Democratic congresswoman also warned others to not be led down a “dark and divisive path of racialism and hate.” Her comments come shortly after President Biden’s claims that systemic racism still exists in America. He spoke shortly after Chauvin was convicted and called systemic racism “a stain on our nation’s soul — the knee on the neck of justice for black Americans — profound fear and trauma, the pain, the exhaustion that black and brown Americans experience every single day.”
Sen. Lindsey Graham also disputed President Biden’s claims, adding that he wants the commander-in-chief to stop running the place down and making America a racist country. “Not in my opinion. We just elected a two-term African-American president. The vice president is of African-American-Indian descent. So our systems are not racist. America is not a racist country,” Sen. Graham said.
The comments also come after the Biden Administration announced plans to mandate Critical Race Theory education to be taught in public schools across the country. In a newly released draft rule, the Federal Education Department would be giving priority for US history and civics grants to programs that incorporate “racially, ethnically, culturally and linguistically diverse perspectives,’ specifically Critical Race Theory and The New York Times’ “1619 Project.”
By doing so, the Education Department will be dangling federal grants to state bureaucrats who will willingly grab the money without bothering to let the public know what education they will be pushing.
Teachers have opposed the “anti-racism” curriculum, including NYC teacher Paul Rossi who warned that the programs would “reinforces the worst impulses we have as human beings: our tendency toward tribalism and sectarianism that a truly liberal education is meant to transcend.”
Every day, the radical left fan racial flames and stoke violence in an effort to divide the country further. It is getting evidently clear what their objective is that even the moderate Democrats are taking notice.
