Recently, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Robert Redfield, said that masks are even more effective than a high-efficacy vaccine in preventing the spread of COVID-19. He urged that everyone in America should wear masks in public and the pandemic could be controlled in six to 12 weeks.
“I might even go so far as to say that this face mask is more guaranteed to protect me against COVID than when I take a COVID vaccine, because immunogenicity may be 70% and if I don’t get an immune response, the vaccine is not going to protect me. This face mask will,” Redfield said.
This contradicts what Redfield said 6 months ago. He was asked if you should wear a mask if you are healthy. His response? No. Now all of that has been changed thanks to “new science.” Af first, we were advised not to wear masks. We were told not to buy medical-grade masks. Now, Redfield has been repeatedly stressing that you should be wearing a mask to prevent the person from spreading the virus to others, not for self-protection.
Redfield had said that the role of the face mask was to prevent contamination when a person coughs or sneezes, but that it does not protect the mask wearer from the virus. To this day, there remains zero evidence that face masks have slowed the spread of COVID-19 or protected the wearer from infection.
Mask-wearing has almost become this cult-like movement in the United States. Those who don’t wear masks are grandma-killers and those who do wear masks are too busy out targeting those who don’t follow their movement based on zero evidence of it working.
The CDC has become so plagued in woke politics that they are focusing too much on critical race theory training instead of handling the pandemic that is destroying America’s middle class. People want to go back to work, they don’t want to sit home and depend on the government to feed their children.
The COVID-19 virus molecules are 0.1 micrometers in diameter, meaning it is 400 times smaller than the plaster particles that normally penetrate the mask. This means the mask has no protection for the wearer and provides a dangerous false sense of security.
This is just another political agenda pushed by the radical left who can convince people that they are protecting them or creating a safe environment by pushing a mask farce that re-elects them.
